The IC-2730E supports VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF, and simultaneous VHF/UHF reception. Each band features independent main tuning, volume, and squelch knobs, along with primary function buttons symmetrically arranged on both sides for convenient and intuitive operation.
Simultaneous reception of VHF/VHF and UHF/UHF
IC-2730E supports simultaneous reception of VHF/VHF, UHF/UHF, and VHF/UHF. Each band has an independent main wave wheel, volume, mute knob, and main function buttons symmetrically arranged on both sides, making operation convenient and intuitive.
Optional VS-3 Bluetooth Earphones
The optional VS-3 Bluetooth earphones can remotely control the IC-2730E through three programmable buttons and PTT button, and provide voice controlled (VOX) hands-free communication function.

Clear and large white backlit LCD screen
The display screen size of IC-2730E is 1.5 times that of IC-2720H, with white backlight supporting higher contrast and larger and clearer display fonts.

The optional MBF-1 vacuum suction cup base and MBA-5 head mounting bracket allow for easy installation, tilting, and rotation of the head.

VHF and UHF 50W output power
The IC-2730E uses high-performance power amplifier modules to achieve a dual band output power of 50W for VHF and UHF.
Built in 50 CTCSS and 104 DTCS with independent tone settings for transmitting and receiving
The tone separation function can set different tones for each channel's transmission and reception, corresponding to the uplink and downlink tones of the relay station.
Optional MBA-4 integrated mounting bracket
MBA-4 facilitates the integrated installation of the host and head.
Both the machine head and the main unit are equipped with hand microphone interfaces for easy connection.
Broadband reception
IC-2730E covers frequencies of 118-174 and 375-550MHz, including aviation, maritime, meteorological, and other frequencies.
