PDT ZXSDR R8881 is the Remote Radio Unit (RRU) in the BBU+RRU distributed base station solution. This distributed base station is built on ZTE's advanced SDR platform, adopts a baseband-radio separation architecture, and supports both digital and analog standards.
The Software Defined Radio (SDR) architecture features high power amplifier efficiency, natural heat dissipation, and reduces power consumption by 80%. It supports outdoor tower-top installation with no feeder loss, which greatly increases the coverage radius. It supports multi-carrier operation, capacity expansion via software upgrade to cut costs, and supports remote radio units for flexible and convenient networking. Its technical indicators meet the requirements of GA/T 1056-2013 General Technical Specifications for Police Digital Trunked (PDT) Communication System.
