QCell is an active indoor coverage solution launched by ZTE High-Tele, which can quickly build a low-cost, high-performance in-depth indoor coverage network. Compared with the traditional indoor distributed DAS (Distributed Antenna System), the QCell solution realizes the transformation of indoor coverage from feeder cables to Ethernet cables, solving the problem that a large number of feeders cannot be deployed indoors or the deployment of feeders is difficult. QCell can be applied to scenarios such as metro rail coverage, coal mine applications (non-explosion-proof), airports, large hotels, commercial shopping malls, high-traffic office buildings, etc. The overall architecture of the QCell solution is divided into three levels, namely the Base Band Unit (BBU), the Pico Remote Radio Unit Bridge (P-Bridge), and the Pico Remote Radio Unit (PicoRRU). The BBU and P-Bridge are connected via optical fibers, the P-Bridge and PicoRRU are connected via Ethernet cables, and cascading between P-Bridges can also be realized using optical fibers. The ZXSDR PicoRRU is the remote radio unit in the active indoor distribution system, which sends or receives signals to and from the P-Bridge through the RJ45 interface. The PicoRRU is compact and lightweight, with corresponding device models ZXSDR R8219, ZXSDR R8119 and ZXSDR R8129, supporting 1.4G, 1.8G and 5.8G frequency bands.
