Overview

The demand of the 10 million tons/year oil refining project of PetroChina Yunnan is to enable command personnel in the command center to call and mobilize all or individual staff within the plant area covered by the base station signal through digital intercoms during daily production, and to ensure interconnection and interoperability within each department at all times, with uninterrupted communication and barrier-free interoperability in key departments. At the same time, a wireless communication system for fire emergency command needs to be established. The two systems should operate independently, using different frequencies and not affecting each other, to meet the needs of daily production communication and emergency command and dispatch.
Solution Value
In the chemical plant area, interconnection and intercommunication between wired telephones (PSTN, PABX, mobile phones) and wireless (intercom terminals) have been achieved. Wired communication is also a commonly used means of communication. Wired and wireless communication complement each other, providing a dual insurance, enhancing flexibility and timeliness.
Considering the stringent requirements of petrochemical enterprises for emergency communication, a dual-carrier frequency digital conventional system has been specially configured to meet the coverage requirements of the fire emergency command wireless communication system. When necessary, emergency intercommunication can be achieved through switching modes.
